Following his debut EP on Disintegration State, Music Won’t Save You, The Gibraltarians returns with Lo-Fi Bangers for Temporary Workers. Recorded in the gaps between contract jobs, the music jumps between different styles, yet remains tied together by the choppy beats and airy melodies, punctuated with moments of relative darkness. Harmonic Residue stutters along haphazardly with the tempo sliding around twinkling synth stabs and a detuned brassy motif. Spectral Vulnerabilities takes us down a darker path of swirling harmonies and pulsing kicks - even here, though, there is light peaking through. Lo-Fi Bangers find The Gibraltarians expanding their sonic palette in exciting directions and we’re excited for you to go explore with them!
